I've been writing and directing short films since I was blown away by Raiders Of The Lost Ark as a ten year old.
In 2009 I completed Tormented, a teen horror comedy and my first feature film. It was released in 230 UK cinemas, the first British film under £1 million to get a “studio level” release.

About Me
I love movies. Making them, watching them, talking about them.
When I was a kid I had a book called Fantastic Cinema which was broken into three sections; horror, fantasy and science fiction. That sums up my interests as a film maker, really. I love Scorcese gangster movies and films like Trainspotting but I doubt I'll make many films set in “the real world”.
Geek
I'm fascinated by computers, and the internet.
I love comics and graphic novels but can't concentrate long enough to read novels any more, except when I'm on holiday (even though half of my university degree was English Literature).
I co-founded a company called 4K London which specialises in the Red One digital movie camera.
I prefer PCs to Macs.
I wear an old school digital watch.
Eco Worrier
I worry about the environment. I think benevolent millionaires should club together to buy up all the land in the world that hasn't been built on, and turn it into national parks. I think couples should choose to have one child, so the population of Planet Earth goes down instead of up.
Real Me
I live in a small town by the seaside, with my girlfriend and my baby son Sam.
I like a pint in the pub, preferably an old pub, with my girlfriend, or a few longtime friends, or a bunch of actors. Or all of the above.
